In West Coast Swing, the leader is responsible for initiating the movements and guiding the flow of the dance, while the follower responds to those cues and adds their own style and creativity. Both roles are equally important and fun to learn! You can choose whichever role feels right for youโsome people even learn both!
As a heads up, follower spaces tend to get booked up quickly but join the waitlist anyway as we release spots when more leaders book.
If you're looking for a refresher of your basics and wanting to start our classes on Thursdays, then this is the ideal place to start as you'll be ready to dive into technique, expanding your repertoire, and learning variations and styling.
